Philip Brezina is an amazingly versatile violinist performing internationally in venues from the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC to the Fillmore in San Francisco from the Disney Hall in Los Angeles to the main stage at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco. He expresses his love for classical, bluegrass and world music in varied ensembles such as; The Magik*Magik Orchestra, The Brothers Comatose, and Pop Up Magazine. Philip currently serves as principle second in the San José Chamber
Orchestra. He earned his Master of Music Degree at the San Francisco Conservatory with Ian Swensen and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland with David Salness and a Full Scholarship.
